Aroma: Citronella has a slightly sweet, lemony scent with a woody undertone.

Extraction: Oil is obtained through steam distallation of the dried grass.

Benefits: Citronella is stimulating and uplifting. 
Citronella makes a great all natural, chemical free insect, moths, ants and flea repellent. It is an effective room deodorizer. Citronella mixed with red cedarwood was used for many years as an effective mosquito repellent prior to the appearance of Deet and other chemical insecticides.

Blends: Citronella blends well with Cedarwood, Bergamot, Eucalyptus, Geranium, Lavender, Sage, Lemon and Peppermint.
