Chamomile is one of the precious oils;
it requires huge quantities of the tiny
flowers to produce a small amount of oil.

Benefits: The physical benefits of
Roman Chamomile include a variety of
skin ailments, including acne, burns,
chilblains, eczema, inflammations,
rashes, and insect bites. Most commonly
used for digestive and stress related
ailments in its herbal form.  Roman
Chamomile is a nerve sedative in any form. 
Beneficial for headache, insomnia, tension, and
migraines. Chamomile acts at every level - physical,
emotional and spiritual.  It harmonizes well with the chakra of the throat because it has the same strengthening effects that can be reinforced by different associations.  This oil can help people express their higher spiritual truths and can also help  healers.  Chamomile oil, when diffused, may be used to calm restless or hyperactive children.

Blends: Chamomile blends well with Bergamot, Clary Sage, Jasmine, Rose, Geranium, and Lavender.

Safety Precautions: Generally non-toxic, but may cause dermatitis in sensitive individuals.
